An AI receptionist that answers your phone, day and night.
Around 62% of small-business calls go unanswered, and 85% of callers who hit voicemail never call back. Anchor picks up on the first ring, every time — nights, weekends, and lunch rushes included — and turns those calls into booked appointments.
What it is
Anchor is a phone receptionist built on the same conversational AI we run for real businesses today. It answers in a natural voice tuned to your business, knows your services, hours, and pricing, books directly onto your calendar, confirms by email straight away and by text once your number clears carrier registration, writes the lead into your CRM where you run one we connect to, and hands off to a human the moment a call needs one. It is our flagship product, and the system most engagements start with.
The phone is still how most local businesses win or lose customers — and it is brutally expensive to cover well.
- ✕A full-time front-desk employee costs $53,000–$65,000 a year with taxes and benefits — and still only covers 40 hours a week.
- ✕Every missed call is usually a missed job: most callers book with whoever answers first.
- ✕Staff get pulled off the desk constantly, so calls go to voicemail during your busiest (most valuable) hours.
- ✕After-hours callers — often your highest-intent leads — get a recording.
Anchor answers instantly and handles the whole conversation, not just a menu.
- Answers 24/7 in a natural voice with your business name, services, hours, and pricing.
- Books appointments straight onto your Google Calendar with real availability — no double-booking.
- Sends the caller a confirmation and sends you the details (name, phone, service, time, age for class bookings) — by email immediately, and by text once your number clears carrier registration.
- Qualifies leads, captures callbacks, and warm-transfers to your team when a human is needed.
What's inside Anchor™
24/7 call answering
First-ring pickup at 2 PM or 2 AM — no hold music, no voicemail.
Real calendar booking
Reads live availability and writes confirmed appointments to your calendar.
Booking confirmations
The caller gets a confirmation and you get a new-booking alert with the details. Email works from day one; text needs your business number registered with the carriers first (A2P 10DLC), which we file during onboarding.
Lead qualification
Asks the questions you care about and captures name and number on every call.
Warm transfer
Recognizes when a caller needs a person and connects them to your line.
Call summaries
Every call logged and summarized so you can skim your day in a minute.
Native CRM & booking connectors
Follow Up Boss, HubSpot and Square, built against each vendor's own API rather than routed through Zapier. The caller is matched or created as a contact, the lead recorded, and the conversation attached as a note. Where a client's book lives in Square, the appointment is written into Square instead of a calendar, re-checked against Square's own availability first so a slot that filled mid-call is refused rather than double-booked. You connect your own account during onboarding.

Common questions
Will callers know it's AI?
It sounds natural and most callers just have a normal conversation. It never pretends to be a specific human, and it hands off to your team gracefully whenever someone asks for a person.
What happens on calls it can't handle?
It transfers to your number during business hours, or takes a detailed message and texts it to you instantly after hours. Nothing gets dropped silently.
How does it know my business?
We build its knowledge from your website, your service list, your pricing rules, and a short onboarding call. You can update anything anytime.
Does it work with my existing phone number?
Yes — keep your number and forward it, or we provision a new tracked line. Porting is also available.
Does it connect to our CRM or booking system?
If you run Follow Up Boss, HubSpot or Square, yes — we built connectors for all three against their own APIs. A call becomes a matched contact, a lead and a call note inside your CRM, and in Follow Up Boss it fires your Action Plan, so the follow-up sequence starts before anyone on your team has looked at it. Square goes a step further and can hold the booking itself, which is what you want when your book lives in Square rather than in a calendar — and it re-checks the time against Square's own availability before writing, so a slot that filled while the caller was talking is refused rather than double-booked. To be exact about the half that is not done: the times offered during the call still come from the connected Google Calendar, so Square receives the booking rather than driving the offer. Anything outside those three still gets a structured record of every call by webhook, which reaches most systems through Zapier or Make — and a deeper native connector for one of them is a custom build we price rather than imply.
How fast can we go live?
Most businesses are live within a day or two of the intake call.
